As I lay awake in my bed, I'm dreaming of you

Sadness overcomes me

Darkness consumes me

And I'm longing for you

This longing for you leaves me so blue

It's so hard loving you

Well, I like looking at myself through the reflection in your eyes

I seem at peace and I feel whole again

But you're not here to ease the pain

The pain is overwhelming

My head is swelling with thoughts of you

And it leaves me blue

So blue

Tired and frustrated, I scribble thoughts down into words on a page

But I can't shake this blood from my veins

And I can't shake this pain

This dark sadness

This raving madness

This memory of you

It leaves me blue

This wanting's taunting me
