H&M’s design team creates sustainable fashion for all, always at the best price. The collections include everything from dazzling party collections to quintessential basics and functional sportswear – for women, men, teenagers and children, and for every season or occasion. In addition to clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, make up and underwear there is also H&M Home – fashionable interiors for children and adults.

The width and variety of the H&M collections mean customers can always find something to suit their style and their wardrobe. There are H&M stores in 54 markets worldwide, and online shopping in 12 countries.

Bonita
In 1990, Teo Ai Siong acquired the ‘Bonita’ brand and established the Aivoria Group with his wife, Sylvia Lim. ‘Bonita’ means ‘beautiful lady’ in Spanish and the Group takes pride in offering customers a plethora of fashion accessories including studs, necklaces, rings, berets, shawls, hair bands, bracelets, bangles and bags at affordable prices to beautify themselves. It now has 12 Bonita outlets located across the country in premium shopping malls. This year, the Group added another feather to its cap when it opened its first boutique overseas, in Indonesia at the Centro Departmental Store Grand Metropolitan Mall Bekasi

From idea to store: The design process
Fashion, quality and sustainability – all at the core of our design process.


H&M’s design department employs 160 in-house designers and 100 pattern makers, as well as several design assistants and print designers. Working from our Head Office in Stockholm, they create H&M’s wide-ranging and varied collections.
The team is large and diverse, representing different age groups and nationalities who draw inspiration from every corner of the globe and a wide variety of sources. From art, cinema, maga-zines and music to street fashion, trade shows and trend seminars.

All these influences are then filtered into constantly updated collections full of inspiring fashion at unbeatable value for money. Men, women, teenagers and children should always find something just for them at H&M – whatever their taste or style.

Our design process is about striking the right balance between fashion, quality and the best price. And it always involves sustainability awareness, that means a strong consideration for both people and the environment, all the way from the sketch book to the customer.

bonita first founded in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 1990, specializing in costume jewelry. Moved the HQ to Kuala Lumpur in 1999.In 1999 the first Bonita store opened in Mid Valley Megamall. Today, Bonita has 12 stores nationwide, the latest being addition at Pavilion KL. In 2005, Elianto was introduced and the first store opened at First World Resort at Genting Highlands. With 53 stores nationwide include East Malaysia and 13 Overseas franchise outlets. In the near future, Elianto planned to expand it to 60 local outlets. The latest addition is at the Pavilion KL and Lot 10, KL. In 2008, Elianto planned to opened another 20 outlets nationwide to capture larger market share.
Elianto also ventured to overseas markets vie franchise. The markets opened to date are at Philippines, Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Future overseas market strategy includes Asian countries i.e. Thailand and China, Middle East countries i.e. Kuwait and Jordan and South Asia countries i.e. India. TIAMO, which means “I love you” in Italian, was borne out of a husband’s love for his wife, and the wife’s passion for sourcing and providing beautiful fashion accessories for women.Tiamo, introducing the first ever Designer Ballerina Flats concept store in Malaysia to sell only Korean made ballerina flats and pumps.Design by top Korean designer, Jung Eun Ju, Tiamo shoes are slimmer and it reshapes the feet for a snug fit.There are also designs that come in low cut vamp, showing a touch of toe cleavage. BONITA has since evolved into a well-known fashion accessories brand in the local fashion industry, which offer quality, value for money fashion accessories.
